Prom Perfect

Ask any teenage girl in the South “What is the most exciting event at school?” and most will quickly answer PROM with a grin from ear to ear…Oh how they dream about, search for, research and find that “perfect prom dress”. With a lot of thought towards finding the perfect dress, 2012 has much to offer.
Short dresses are very popular right now. Some are body fitting, others baby doll style and even feathered dresses are among the top sellers. Short dresses can be fun or glamorous. Accessories certainly add to the picture. Pair a cute short baby doll dress up with a sparkly pair of cowboy boots and let the party start. Rhinestone heels paired with a straight body fitting dress displays glamour. Feathers are just happy.

While short dresses this year come in every color and style some girls opt for the more traditional longer gown. The longer gowns for 2012 have beautiful backs, detailed beading and stones and slits for ease of walking. Mermaid styles are popular for long gowns in an array of bright colors. Ruffles on long gowns are seen everywhere . For the young lady who can’t decide between short and long the high-lows are the perfect answer. High- lows are short in the front , which means walking is easy while the back is long, making it more traditional.

Designers have out done themselves this year on prom dresses. With so many choices of styles, colors and materials any girl can find the dress of her dreams.

Don’t forget accessories: earrings, bracelets and of course shoes. You can’t go wrong because really anything goes from causal to formal. Prom is YOUR time so enjoy it and when the perfect dress is tried on, you’ll know it.
